Emer’s passion and zest for travel stem from her early days studying hospitality management in Ireland. This led to further university adventures in France, Switzerland, and the United States. Emer has enjoyed a successful career in luxury hospitality spanning 30 years, most notably as director of sales at The Merrion in Dublin and most recently as head of sales at Dream Escape. Her expertise in the international luxury tourism marketplace and her vast array of talents and connections are invaluable attributes she brings to Rebecca Recommends. To unwind, Emer enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with her husband, David, two teenagers, Chloe and Harry, and four-legged family member Teddy.

Which destinations are top of your travel to-do list? I am giddy with excitement at the opportunity to travel to far-flung parts of the world. After all, with Rebecca’s stellar portfolio, the list is endless! South Africa, New Zealand, Israel, Nepal, and Sri Lanka are beckoning to me, as well as closer-to-home Turkey and Greece. I just cannot wait!
