Don't forget to pack the essential hat, sunglasses, sunscreen if you're travelling in the summer, a shawl, and of course your camera! No matter where you are going in the world, you should pack comfortable walking shoes or sandals.
Best Time To Visit
The best times to visit art cities (Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, etc.) are March, May, September and October, because the temperatures are mild and there are not many tourists around. Best time to visit countryside (Chianti, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna) is April, May and September. Best time to visit Lakes (Lake Como, Lake Garda, Lake Maggiore) is May, September, October.
