Sandra’s love affair with hotels bloomed during her hotel management studies at the historic Cathal Brugha Street, College of Catering in Dublin. Following a gap year in London, she returned to Dublin to work at The Morrison Hotel, discovering the wonderful world of independent, designer boutique hotels. Sandra ultimately returned to London to join Christina Ong’s Como Hotels & Resorts.

Specializing in the entertainment industry, Sandra thrived on the energy and travel opportunities this market presented. After working in senior sales and marketing positions at the Sofitel St. James and The Cadogan, she joined the executive team at The Cavendish London as Director of Marketing & Sales. Tasked with rebranding, repositioning, and relaunching the hotel as an independent, luxury property, she rose to the challenge. Drawing on her passion for boutique hotels and a dedication to client relationships, Sandra embraced every opportunity to develop these partnerships on trips to visit clients across Europe and North America.

What’s on her travel bucket list? Sandra excitedly joins the Rebecca Recommends team after taking a break from the hotel industry to raise her two children and help her husband grow his business. She looks forward to visiting the portfolio’s many amazing destinations and hotels, both close to home and in New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka.
