Entering the travel industry was quite natural for Jelena, who as a young girl traveled extensively within her country (former Yugoslavia) with her family. She joins the RR team from Serbia, which along with Bosnia, Croatia and Slovenia, comprise the region that was Yugoslavia. Jelena started her career in finance before transitioning to a travel company that focused on Greece. She was fortunate enough to travel to many of that country’s most beautiful destinations and islands. After five years in that position, Jelena moved into the online industry, working in various managerial roles for US companies in data management and software development. Her eye was always on the travel world, however, and she’s excited to come back into the industry with Rebecca Recommends.

What Is Your Favorite Travel Moment? It would have to be visiting the Seychelles, with all those stunning white-sand beaches and pristine nature. The islands have so much to offer, from the magnificent botanical garden to The National Museum of History to the Baie Ternay Marine Park. The local people are so hospitable and kind. This is a destination I will always recommend.
