Ventours International: Sri Lanka

This educational familiarization (FAM) trip to Sri Lanka in October 2026, hosted by Ventours International and Rebecca Recommends, provides travel advisors with a comprehensive overview of the island’s premier luxury properties and cultural highlights. The itinerary begins in Colombo with boutique hotel inspections, a tour of architect Geoffrey Bawa’s home, and a colonial heritage walk. The group then travels to the Cultural Triangle via a charter flight to explore the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya, followed by visits to the Dambulla Cave Temples, a private spice farm, and Kandy’s sacred Temple of the Tooth.

The journey continues into the central highlands with a scenic train ride to Hatton for a stay featuring tea tastings, factory tours, and culinary experiences. Attendees with then fly south to Yala National Park for guided game drives and wildlife bush walks. The trip concludes on the southern coast with a tour of a working cinnamon estate and an exploration of the historic fortified town of Galle before departure from Colombo.
