Vakay does not currently serve Southern Italy (Apulia, Calabria, Sicily and Sardinia)
Don’t forget to pack the essential hat, sunglasses, sunscreen if you’re travelling in the summer, a shawl, and of course your camera!
No matter where you are going in the world, you should pack comfortable walking shoes or sandals.
The best times to visit art cities (Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, etc.) are March, May, September and October, because the temperatures are mild and there are not many tourists around.
Best time to visit countryside (Chianti, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna) is April, May and September.
Best time to visit Lakes (Lake Como, Lake Garda, Lake Maggiore) is May, September, October.
In Tuscany, all activities are produced directly by Vakay’s employees (drivers, guides, chefs, etc), which is quite rare. This guarantees control over the standards and quality of the service they offer, as well as the transmission of their values to the client.
