XIGERA SAFARI LODGE IS THE BOTSWANA SAFARI EXPERIENCE REIMAGINED BY THE TOLLMAN FAMILY. THEIR DREAM COME TRUE ALLOWS THEM TO BECOME CUSTODIANS OF XIGERA AS WELL AS THE SURROUNDING LAND AND WILDLIFE WHILE EMPOWERING AND UPLIFTING LOCAL COMMUNITIES.
Deeply rooted in its Okavango Delta surroundings, Xigera epitomizes the heart and soul of Africa. Just 12 spacious suites make for an intimate guest experience amidst the seasonal floodplains, riverine forests, and tawny grasslands. Despite its age-old setting, the solar-powered Xigera is a modern ode to luxe living and sustainability. African art, culture, and creativity are celebrated through the lodge, which includes an extensive spa program, a pool overlooking the Okavango Delta, a waterside lounge, a delightful boma for stargazing and storytelling, and an open-kitchen dining room with a world-class wine list. By day, set off into the ancient landscape, either by four-wheel-drive safari vehicle or by air – a helicopter game flight takes off right from the lodge. Keep an eye out for the elephants found in the area year-round, as well as leopards, lions, and wild dogs. Incredibly knowledgeable, specialist guides are at guests’ sides, sharing with them the magic of the bush. Guests come away with the same passion for Botswana and its conservation that led the Tollman family to envision this remarkable new safari lodge.

Xigera is proud to support a hydroponic farming partnership with The Bellfrog Inn, helping local farmers produce high-quality sustainable produce. The Bellfrog Inn runs a Maun-based hydroponic farm on the banks of the Boro River. Hydroponics is an incredibly sustainable way of farming, as the vertical farming system results in less land and water usage and there is no need for soil treatment and fertilizers.
Fully inclusive rates allow you to discover all that Xigera has to offer, from wildlife drives and mekoro excursions to extraordinary dining experiences. The dedicated Red Carnation Africa team will work with you to design a journey that’s fully tailored to your clients.
